Quick Intro

I’ve often had a strong interest in RC rotor craft.  Fixed wing just didn’t hold the interest for me, but helis did.  Partially goes back to that I kinda always wanted to be a heli pilot, I guess.

Anyway… I did OK with some RC helis of differing sizes, but I always had trouble flying line of sight (los).  Of course, multiroter drones came on the scene, and had gotten popular.

Reticently though I got my interest piqued awhen I was skimming through SexyCyborg’s stuff for… reasons.  (Full disclaimer: I got interested in her stuff first because she’s fucking clever.  I stayed interested because I’ve developed a bimbo kink).

Anyway, one thing that’s off-putting for me for drones to some extent is cost, but she had a cheap monocular display as well as a cool wrist mount for a nanodrones.  This got me looking a lot harder at drones again, but more specifically FPV.

Come to find out, not terribly far from my house is a shot that caters to RC. So a quick stop in, and some not terrible, but definitely slanted, advice and I find myself the proud owner of an Inductrix FPV.

I’m not great with it, and I’ve got a lot of learning to do.  But I’m practicing every day, and doing my best to move forward.  So this blog will be not only where I’m at, but where I’m going & what I’d like to do.
